Installation and safety instructions: The air pump should be placed above the water level of the aquarium to avoid damage caused by water backflow. If the air pump is placed below the water level, please install a check valve to prevent water from flowing back and damaging the air pump.   After prolonged use of the air pump, please regularly clean the air filter (on the bottom of the pump) to avoid affecting the air flow.   The air pump is not waterproof and the pump housing should be avoided from getting wet or saturated with water, which may cause damage to the air pump.
