Myriophyllum matogrossense comes from Mato Grosso in Rio Amazonas, Brazil. It has decorative, feather-like, reddish stems and finely divided light green leaves. In good lighting conditions, the leaves spread out in a fan shape. Myriophyllum is easy to grow and looks good as a backdrop. It needs frequent pruning to maintain its bushy shape. It grows quickly and requires a lot of fertilization.
Remove the plant from the cup and rinse the gel thoroughly under running water. Then divide into small (1-2 cm) clumps and plant at short distances. As it grows, it will form a uniform group of adult plants.
Plant from in vitro breeding - free from snails, parasites and algae. High-quality gel was used as the medium, so it is accepted very quickly in the aquarium.
