Pinguicula 'Niklas' an interesting butterfly

Characteristic:

Plant name: Pinguicula 'Niklas': a cross between Pinguicula 'Moranensis' and Pinguicula 'Emarginata'.

Color and size: The mature plant reaches a diameter of 5.5 cm. The color of the leaves can vary from light green to pink, depending on the intensity of light.

Light: The plant prefers partial to full sunlight or the equivalent of growing light, illumination 16 hours a day.

Substrate: The best results are achieved in the substrate recommended by Aqua Art.

Feeding: The plant loves bedbugs, dried earthworms, fish food.

Humidity: Ideal humidity is 50% to 80% with adequate airflow. During the insectivorous phase, sufficient distilled water should be provided to keep the media moist. Reduce watering and allow the nutrient solution to dry regularly, when a succulent rosette begins to form, use Tropical Rain for watering

Temperature: The plant grows well at temperatures between 22°C and 29°C.

Dormancy: Technically none, however the insectivorous leaves are replaced by a smaller succulent rosette for part of the year. The plant may stop growing if the temperature or humidity is too low.
