Ion-exchange resin cartridge for platinum line plus reverse osmosis - with color indicator
Used to remove the last remaining contaminants from RO water such as silicate, nitrate and other ions, by using ion exchange resin as the final phase on a reverse osmosis unit. It reduces the growth of diatoms if the silicate content in tap water is too high.
The resin changes color to indicate the effectiveness of the filter material. When the conductivity of desalted osmosis water starts to rise again, the resin changes from blue to green and must be renewed.
