Bacopa monnieri is a great plant to have in your aquarium as it is easy plant to maintain and flourishes in most conditions. It originates from Pan Tropic and ranges in height from 25 cm to 50cm.
It survives well in the hard water that is found in most European tanks. It is possible to propagate by removing the terminal bud or the side shoot and planting in substrate. It is most aesthetically pleasing when a number of stems are planted in a group.
