The wood, which comes from Asia, can be combined very beautifully and build great “climbing frames” and landscapes.
For use in the aquarium, we recommend watering the Snake Wood for several days so that the majority of the humic acid and tannins are washed out and the roots can soak up water.
The wood belongs to the genus Brosimum from the mulberry family and is a reddish-brown hardwood that is streaked with dark spots.
It is called snakewood because of the mottled snakeskin grain.
Size: approx. 20 to 30 cm
Since this is a purely natural product, appearance and size can of course vary slightly.
