The frog mouth pod comes from Brazil.
The pods are heavily woody and therefore very stable.
Not only are they an absolute eye-catcher in aquariums and terrariums, they also offer great hiding places.
In the aquarium, the pod contracts when it soaks up water. Therefore, each frog mouth pod should be accompanied by a small stone or the customer should be informed of this. This can be removed after 3-5 days if desired and has the additional advantage that the pod sinks faster. Frog mouth pods (like any wood) should be soaked in water for a few days because the humic substances in the water can cause them to stain the water. It's safe, but not everyone likes brown water.
The pods are approximately 6-10 cm in diameter. They are therefore also suitable for nano tanks.
Of course, the size of the opening can also vary somewhat.
