It is advisable to stick the liana balls, for example, on a slate slab or weigh them down with a stone so that they have a firm footing and sink. Due to their low weight, the lianas would otherwise take a very long time to remain under water.

Like any wood, it should be washed carefully and watered for a while if it is used in the aquarium.
Every wood releases more or less humic substances. These are in no way harmful to the aquarium inhabitants. If you don't want the water to turn slightly brown, you should water it longer.
